COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic Showcases the Power of Partnership
A unique partnership that brought the COVID‑19 vaccine to thousands of members of diverse communities in the Seattle area this spring had a little help from Advanced Professionals, whose staff were among the dozens of volunteers needed to keep patients safely flowing through each of the pop-up vaccine clinics.

Advanced Professionals “Beat the Bridge” for juvenile diabetes
Type 1 diabetes (T1D) is a chronic, life‑threatening autoimmune disease that is currently unpreventable. The Nordstrom Beat the Bridge to Beat Diabetes is a fundraiser for JDRF — the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Advanced Professionals join Newfronters in our Seattle office to race against the clock and “Beat the Bridge,” attempting to cross Seattle’s University Bridge before it’s raised during the race. Those who don’t beat the bridge must wait, with a live band and entertainment, for the bridge to come back down, before finishing their race.

Sponsorship Offers Paths to Navigate Overwhelming Times
In June 2021, Advanced Professionals sponsored a free online workshop to support families struggling to adjust to the society upheaval and unprecedented change caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Learn more about the webinar Navigating Relationships Amidst Overwhelming Times hosted by Kids Co., a nonprofit located in Seattle that serves the region’s working families with quality, nonprofit care.

Newfront rebuilds for safer and healthier communities
Each year on the last Saturday in April, Newfronters from othe Bay Area offices join together for National Rebuilding Day. We roll up our sleeves, pick up our tools, and join thousands of volunteers to provide much needed, and sometimes critical and life-saving repairs, for vulnerable families throughout our communities. Repairing homes and rebuilding lives helps to create safer communities for everyone.

Newfront advocates and fights to end hunger
Newfront is committed to instilling philanthropy into our DNA. Teams regularly visit local food banks to advocate to end hunger, including Advanced Professionals’ community-building day at Food Lifeline. From sorting and packing, assisting at mobile pantries, and delivering meals to neighbors in need, Newfronters rally together to make a difference for our communities.

Newfront gives back...packs
Each year, Newfront offices come together to collect backpacks and holiday gifts for children and families in need, through Family Giving Tree. Ensuring children head back to school with the supplies they need is essential for education. Providing families with gifts they’ve been hoping for all year is the true magic of holidays.

Led by the Newfront Giving Committee, Advanced Professionals encourages team members to engage directly with the community by volunteering time and service to a variety of local-minded organizations.
Through a partnership with Family Giving Tree, each of our offices come together to donate supplies for their “Back-to-School Drive” and gifts for their “Holiday Wish Drive,” supporting more than a hundred families each year.
Newfronters also regularly organize in-person volunteering opportunities, through events like the Ocean Beach Clean-Up, meal packaging with Rise Against Hunger, and building homes for National Rebuilding Day.
